The human helping hand
Whether you use the latest software, established desktop software, or still have ‘red’ books and spreadsheets, you will have an essential accounting system that should give you all the information you need to run your business. Unfortunately, we have often seen people struggle with the software and systems which should be making their life easier. A software tool will never replace the human component, and we are here to provide the human helping hand. We’ll help you to set up and use your system so that it serves you and can provide everything your business needs.
Plain English
We will not confuse you with ‘accountant speak’ but talk to you about the bookkeeping systems you are using, how you can make them better, and how we can help you do this. Usually you will have everything there, but with some experienced direction your processes can become simplified and more efficient and the reports or information more useful and easier to understand.
We offer help with selecting, setting up, and/or training on your systems, and we will be there to assist in your companies’ progress at every step along the way.

FAQ’s
Why should I use an accountant when I have the latest software?
What book-keeping system or software should I use?
If your turnover is above £85,000 or will be over the next 12 months, you will need an MTD compliant system, involving either spreadsheets you can upload to the internet, or an accounting software which can file your VAT return for you. Most of the popular accounting software systems are MTD compliant and relatively easy to use, but unless you have a background in bookkeeping or accounts, you will need some training.
System prices vary, according to the extras you get with the software, such as reporting options, whether multi user, cloud based (storage of data then is not an issue), and foreign currency options. Often you can download a trial version of the software, so you can try it for yourself before you buy.
Where can I get training?
As part of the service at Aviatrix, we will help you choose, develop and run your own system. Then you can call us free of charge at any time if you have any questions.
